Prior to joining Keller Williams in 1996, Dave was President and CEO of Century 21 South Central States, based in Dallas, Texas. He has been in the real estate industry since 1981, has served as an instructor for the Dale Carnegie Institute and owned a training company called The Leadership Connection.

Born in the city of Niagara Falls, Dave was raised in western New York.  He graduated from the State University of New York at Albany (now the University at Albany) with a B.S. in math and physics.  He later earned his master's degree in educational administration from Colgate University and did doctoral postgraduate studies in educational psychology at Michigan State University.

Dave is a self-proclaimed "futurist on a free enterprise mission." He lives in Austin, Texas. He is the proud father of three and grandfather of nine. He loves music (especially bluegrass and guitar), travel, reading, writing, hiking, weight-training, and golf.
